McLaren New Forest had the incredible opportunity to join the time-honoured tradition of The Lord Mayor’s Parade in Central London last weekend. This annual event, rooted in British history since the 13th century, celebrates the essence of British culture, innovation, and community spirit, bringing together participants from across the UK in a grand procession. McLaren New Forest was proud to showcase two remarkable models, the 750S Spider and Artura Spider, each embodying McLaren’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and the celebration of the “Best of British.”
The Lord Mayor’s Show is one of the longest-standing civic traditions in the world, with nearly eight centuries of history behind it. It marks the inauguration of the new Lord Mayor of the City of London and reflects a vibrant mix of pageantry, community involvement, and modernity. The procession was no exception. Hundreds of spectators lined the streets to witness the spectacle, which included floats, marching bands, military regiments, and iconic British brands—each paying homage to the country’s rich heritage and forward-thinking spirit.
Both models represent McLaren’s pioneering approach to the future of supercars, balancing performance and sustainability. The Lord Mayor’s Parade was the perfect setting to showcase these vehicles, which celebrate the best of British engineering, design, and passion for automotive excellence.
Both Harwoods Group and McLaren New Forest is proud to have been a part of this historic event, and we look forward to continuing to share our dedication to British heritage and innovation.
