September was a remarkable month for our Sales & Marketing Director, Clare Freemantle, as she not only conquered her 100-mile running challenge but also far exceeded her fundraising goal in support of Cancer Research UK. Clare raised an incredible £5,425 with £1,031.25 in gift aid on top, surpassing her £5,000 target with her determination and heart.
100 Miles, One Mission: Defeating Cancer Together
Cancer is a battle that touches everyone, and for Clare, it's deeply personal. Her father, a three-time cancer survivor, and the loss of all her grandparents to the disease have made Cancer Research UK a cause close to her heart. Earlier this summer, when a team member was also diagnosed with cancer, Clare felt even more driven to help make a difference. Running became Clare's outlet two years ago, so when she saw the 100-mile challenge, it felt like the perfect way to support the fight against cancer. Her journey in September was a testament not only to her physical endurance but to her commitment to those affected by cancer. Every step she took and every donation she received brought her closer to her goal of making a meaningful impact in the fight against this devastating disease.
A Huge Thank You
Clare’s efforts and the generosity of each and everyone who has supported have contributed significantly to the vital work of Cancer Research UK. Each donation, no matter the size, plays an important role in funding life-saving research and advancing treatments. Together we are helping to bring us closer to a future where cancer can be beaten for good.
Congratulations, Clare, on your amazing achievement! Your dedication is inspiring, and we are so proud of the difference you’ve made. Here's to many more miles and many more victories in the fight against cancer!
