With its stunning design, innovative features, and powerful performance, it's set to make waves in the automotive industry. The SEALION 7 features BYD's Blade Battery technology with options for high-performance configurations, including a version with a 91.3 kWh battery offering up to 312 miles (502 km) WLTP range and 530 hp, allowing a 0-62 mph sprint in just 4.5 seconds.

Its extended wheelbase provides a spacious and comfortable interior, while the "OCEAN X" front styling gives it a commanding presence on the road. The SEALION 7’s futuristic tail lamps combine sleek linear light strips with water-drop-shaped dots, creating a sense of movement and energy. These design elements evoke the high-speed motion of water droplets, giving this electric SUV a modern aesthetic that stands out on the road. 

Inspired by the dynamic flow and speed of sailboat racing, the BYD SEALION 7’s interior captures a sense of movement, suspension, and spaciousness. This design creates an immersive and cohesive atmosphere, where every element appears to float harmoniously, mirroring the motion of waves. The continuous reference to ocean aesthetics across the BYD range reflects a strong brand identity and a commitment to sustainability, creating a harmony between nature and technology.

BYD Blade Battery

Recognised as one of the safest EV batteries in the world, BYD’s Blade Battery features a revolutionary design developed over several years. Individual cells are arranged in a grid-like structure and integrated directly into the battery pack. This optimised layout increases space efficiency by over 50% compared to traditional lithium iron phosphate (LFP) block batteries, enabling the battery to store more energy while remaining compact and lightweight. This innovation enhances both performance and practicality, setting a new standard for EV battery technology. 

BYD's Blade Battery with Cell-to-Body technology enhances safety and efficiency, offering up to 312 miles of range (WLTP) and fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes. Powered by an 8-in-1 electric drivetrain, the Excellence AWD model delivers 530 hp and a 0–62 mph acceleration in 4.5 seconds. 

Smart Features, Effortless Convenience

The SEALION 7's intelligent features make life easier. The electric tailgate opens with a simple foot gesture, and the anti-pinch system ensures safety. Inside, it offers a rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen, a digital driver display, and advanced ADAS, including a 360-degree "God's Eye" view for safety. The interior is inspired by the dynamic flow of sailboat racing, creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere.
