Your Journey

Starting a new job is not easy and can feel very uncomfortable at times you may wonder if you have made the right decision. We acknowledge this and have developed the Harwoods induction journey working in conjunction with over 40 well respected Harwoods Group employees, we have asked them to cast their minds back to their induction and using their knowledge for what they know now. We are confident that by following the induction journey you will be running at full speed as quickly as possible. We all want to prepare you for a successful career here with us in the Harwoods Group.

What can you expect in your early days with us?

During your six-month Induction Journey, you will complete activities, find out information and spend time carrying out activities relevant to the role you have been appointed for.

Some of these activities will be structured and laid out in the comprehensive Log Book that you will receive on your 1st Day. You will be guided by your Line Manager and supported by your Buddy throughout this period.

Your Chance To Be Heard

At Harwoods, every employee is invited to attend Quarterly 1:1 Review meetings with their Line Manager.

This is a great opportunity to set and review goals and objectives which support the critical success factors of the Harwoods Group Plan. It is also a dedicated regular moment for you and your Line Manger to have open and honest dialogue.

You will experience your first two of these meetings during your Induction Journey period.
