Defender OCTA is powered by a 4.4 litre V8 twin-turbo mild-hybrid powertrain driving through an 8-speed automatic gearbox with high and low range First seen in Range Rover Sport SV, the NC11 engine delivers 635PS and 750Nm*, and delivers an improvement in CO₂ compared to the 5.0 supercharged V8 engine 0-60mph performance of 3.8s, with top speed of up to 155mph dependant on wheel and tyre choice Virtually all elements of the powertrain are uprated to ensure refined power and torque delivery in all conditions, both on and off-road.
